Until you read the pet’s own tooltip, assume buff, not second plot. Equipping a pet does not fill an empty pad. Unequipping a Brainrot does not hatch a pet.
If a pet tooltip says luck, wear it while you hunt rare Brainrots. If it says cash, wear it while the plot ticks. If it says nothing you understand, leave Pancake and Syrup equipped because limiteds are the flex and the possible reroll bait.
How limited pets drop
Limiteds in this genre come from:

- Equip the best luck or cash pet you own.
- Farm as usual: eggs, carries, pads.
- During Chaos or Anomaly title tags, read the group shout before you spend the session on Commons.
- Do not trade pets using off-site “trust me” middlemen. This wiki will not host a black market.
Pet mistakes that waste a Chaos window
- Leaving the pet UI on a Common hatchling while a limited is up.
- Trading Pancake and Syrup in a sketchy Discord the same night it dropped.
- Assuming a pet replaces a pad. It does not. Fill Brainrots first.
- Prestiging without a screenshot, then arguing with friends about whether the pet survived.
- Watching a Steal a Brainrot pet video and buying the wrong shop.
