How to Rebirth in Break a Brainrot Egg

Rebirth is the prestige layer in Break a Brainrot Egg. The HUD icon sits on the left side of the screen. When you meet the cash and Brainrot requirements, you can prestige: the game wipes a chunk of your run in exchange for a bigger base, cash multipliers, and new rows in the Gears shop. If you press it by accident, you will feel it. Read this page, then tick the rebirth checklist before every prestige.

What rebirth takes

Public sessions and UI text agree on the painful half:

• Cash resets. Your wallet returns to a grant, not to your pre-prestige pile.
• Brainrots on the base reset. Slotted printers go away. This is why mutation pairs and rebirth-required units need a plan.
• Non-Robux hammers reset. Toy comes back. Wood through Pirate God that you bought with in-game cash go back on the shop wall. Hammers purchased with Robux are the exception called out in-game.

That last point matters. If you spent Robux on a hammer, prestige will not steal that Power. If you only ever paid cash, you are walking back into the field with 10 Power and a dream. Budget a Wood–Gold rebuild using the hammer planner before you confirm.

What rebirth gives

Each successful prestige is supposed to grant some mix of:

• Extra base slots so more Brainrots can print at once
• A cash multiplier on future income
• A cash grant so you are not literally at zero
• Access to more Gears — Speed Coil, Slap, Basic Balloon, Wooden Club, Bee Launcher, Fuse Bomb, Invisibility Cloak, Giant Club, Super Balloons, Petrify, Atomic Disintegrator 3100, Landmine, Body Swap, Snowball Cannon, RPG

Gears are why rebirth exists. Hammers speed egg HP. Gears speed you: movement, contest tools, and crowd control on a five-player field. The gear tier list ranks them for farm versus steal.

Requirements

The left-side panel lists a cash threshold plus specific Brainrots. Those required units are the real gate, not the money. Beginner write-ups all say the same thing: hunt the rebirth Brainrots first, even if they print less than a random Secret you hatched. A high-earner you cannot prestige with is a trophy. A required unit is a key.

We do not invent the exact list per rebirth index — BadPirate has changed shops across Chaos and Pets patches. Read the live Rebirth panel in your lobby and treat that text as canon. A clean prestige routine

1. Open Rebirth and screenshot the requirements.
2. Hatch or steal the named Brainrots. Keep a spare if the mutation machine can take the pair.
3. Spend leftover cash on the highest hammer you will be sad to lose — or stop buying cash hammers if a Robux hammer already covers you.
4. Park anything the UI lets you park. Community comments describe stuffing units into a machine, prestige, then retrieving them. If the live client still allows that, do it before you confirm, and do not click Rebirth while they sit on floor slots.
5. Confirm. Buy Wood / Stone / Gold again. Refill slots with the first decent hatches. Unlock Gears you actually use (Speed Coil is the usual first pickup).
6. Return to the zone your new Power can finish.

When to delay

Delay if you are one egg away from a Secret you will never see again this reset, if a limited like Caylusaurus is up during Admin Abuse, or if you cannot rebuild Stone within a few minutes. Do not delay for Commons, for a hammer two tiers above your income, or because the word “reset” scares you. Incremental games pay you for cycling prestige, not for hoarding a first base forever.

After the first few rebirths

Later prestiges cost more named units and more zeros. That is when zone gates in the billions and trillions start to matter, including player reports of a later field that wants on the order of 2Q. Your hammer target climbs toward Glitch, Pirate, Gaia, and Pirate God (1000 Power at $1Q on the March 2026 table). Keep using rebirth as a gear unlocker, not as a vanity counter. A rebirth with empty Gears unused is a wasted wipe.
